Right now CleanPowerSF customers can enjoy financial savings on a high-efficiency, heat pump water heater when working with a BayREN Participating Contractor. Combined with incentives for the contractor, switching to a new heat pump water heater is an economical and environmental choice. Here’s what you can do to get started:

  1. Contact a BayREN Home Energy Advisor for a free consultation to get your questions answered about heat pump water heaters, including costs!

    • It’s best to email your rebate questions to an advisor. If you need more technical assistance or help finding a contractor, call (866) 878-6008.

  2. Find a participating BayREN contractor who can help you with the installation process.

    • Search for contractors here >>

      • Don’t see your own contractor? Refer them and get a $100 gift card (qualifications apply).

    • Your BayREN contractor will work with you to determine the scope and budget of your project. They will be able to tell you which rebates your project qualifies for.

    • Once the project is completed, the contractor will submit program documentation on your behalf and you will be able to track the progress of your rebate online.

  3. Rebates are available on a first-come, first-served basis and are available for CleanPowerSF customers with homes built in 2016 or earlier.
