San Francisco Public Utilities Commission Approves Electricity Rates with No Increase for 98% of Customers
SAN FRANCISCO – The San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) approved annual rates for its two power services, with no change for over 380,000 CleanPowerSF electricity customers—representing 98% of all customers—and a 10 percent increase for approximately 6,300 Hetch Hetchy Power municipal, commercial, and residential customers. Even with the 10 percent increase, Hetch Hetchy Power rates remain the lowest electricity rates in San Francisco. The new rates for Hetch Hetchy Power customers take effect on July 1, 2025.
California Climate Credit Arriving this Month

The California Climate Credit arrives this month, putting some green back in your wallet while supporting a cleaner energy future. This biannual credit comes from California's Greenhouse Gas Cap-and-Trade Program, which incentivizes utilities in California to reduce their greenhouse gas emissions.
